"It is an Elk's Lodge, run by the members. They do a creditable job. The rib eye steak was of above average quality and the cowboy BBQ master did an excellent job of cooking the steaks to rare. Very rare. The male bartender was great, the female bartender absolutely butchered the cork on the rather good bottle of wine I had bought and paid the corkage fee on. She demolished the cork, so it had to be extracted in pieces, and there was a 1/4 Inch of cork debris in the wine. I had cringed when she started violently slamming the corkscrew back and forth like a maniacally driven metronome on speed. They are nice friendly people, volunteers all, I'd bet."

"The Elks Banquet Hall is a nicely maintained facility. The hall was clean and in good working order. The room was arranged for comfortable seating with room to mingle. The tables and chairs were also in very good condition. The bar area was well stocked and conveniently located adjacent to the main hall. The kitchen was organized and neatly arranged. The catered meal was served buffet style and the kitchen arrangment made this very easy. The restrooms were clean and spacious. There is easy wheelchair access from the parking lot. It's a very nice hall for events."
